Crisalix - 3D/4D simulation, VR & AR for aesthetic treatments
Crisalix is an advanced medical aesthetic imaging platform that is a world leader in 3D and 4D simulations as well as virtual and augmented reality. With this technology, patients can be given a clearer picture of their skin before undergoing aesthetic treatment - for example for breast augmentations or Body contouring - see what their result could look like.
Thanks to realistic simulations in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), you can directly experience new body shapes and features. This makes decision-making easier, as the expected results are easier to assess and questions can be clarified more easily during the consultation.
lecturer dr Matiasek Crisalix uses a targeted approach to convey a precise idea of the possible outcome. In this way, expectations are realistically aligned and treatments are customised. Crisalix helps to achieve the best possible results and increases satisfaction and confidence in the treatment process.
How does Crisalix 3D simulation technology work?
Crisalix 3D simulation technology offers a modern and effective way to get a clear idea of the possible outcome before undergoing cosmetic surgery. It is used in over 100 countries worldwide; your data remains secure and protected.
The process starts with several photos of your face or body from different angles. These are uploaded to the Crisalix software, which uses them to create a detailed 3D visualisation. Within a few minutes, you will see a model that shows how you might look after the planned treatment - an ideal basis for deciding whether the procedure is right for you.
A special highlight is the use of virtual reality glasses: you can experience the potential result - e.g. of a breast operation - in a virtual environment. In addition, dynamic movements of the breast can be simulated and effects can be visualised under different items of clothing. Scar images can also be simulated in order to realistically assess post-operative changes.
After the consultation, you will receive access to your personalised simulation via an online account. This allows you to view the visualisation at home and discuss it with family or friends - so you can make an informed decision.
Crisalix facilitates communication between the lecturer Dr Matiasek and you: options can be compared directly and their effects on the appearance can be visualised. This helps to avoid unrealistic expectations and increases satisfaction with the end result.
For which treatments can Crisalix be used?
Crisalix can be used for a variety of aesthetic treatments. Before a breast augmentation, -downsizing or -tightening possible results can be precisely visualised. Crisalix also offers clear simulations for facelifts and lip augmentation, Eyelid lifts and other facial treatments. Also for liposuctions, Abdominoplasty and Body contouring the technology helps to see the expected result in advance.
Facial treatments
Crisalix can be used to create detailed analyses and visualisations for numerous facial treatments - planned exactly according to your wishes.
For nose corrections (rhinoplasty), Crisalix simulates the desired nose shape, making the decision easier. Facelifts can be visualised clearly; adjustments to eyebrow shape and Eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty) are visualised. Cheek and neck treatments, injections with Dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid) and Botulinum toxin for wrinkle reduction and treatments such as microneedling, PRP (vampire lifting), Laser and peelings can be simulated to show the expected overall picture.
Crisalix also offers numerous other simulation options - helpful for making informed decisions and keeping expectations realistic.
Breast
Crisalix is a central planning tool for breast operations. Before an augmentation, reduction, lift or reconstruction, precise measurements are taken and - before a lift/reduction - an ultrasound examination is carried out to assess the tissue.
Standardised photos (frontal, left, right) are taken during the consultation. The software uses these to generate your personalised 3D model in seconds. Together with lecturer Dr Matiasek, various Implant sizes, shapes and positions You can see the possible result from different angles. This is much more informative than previous „insert comparisons“.
The appropriate method is discussed on the basis of the data (Implants or autologous fat), including suitable implant shapes and sizes. After the appointment, you will receive your personalised 3D simulation to view and discuss with your loved ones at your leisure - for an informed, confident decision.
Crisalix also supports corrections of existing implants and fat transfers. Manufacturer options (e.g. Polytech, Motiva, Mentor, Perle/GC Aesthetics) can be visualised realistically. In addition, the position of the inframammary fold (IMF) can be taken into account and the dynamic movement of the breast can be simulated - for a natural result. The effect under clothing can also be assessed in advance.
Body
Crisalix also offers comprehensive simulations for body treatments. The body analysis includes precise, automatic measurements for surgical planning. With Tummy tucks (abdominoplasty) the simulation shows the expected belly; for liposuctions possible contours are visualised. Changes to the buttocks - e.g. due to implants or fat transfer - can be visualised. One special application is high-definition liposuction, which simulates very precise results. Many other body treatments can be simulated to create realistic expectations.
What advantages does 3D simulation offer for a more realistic result?
Crisalix enables the result to be before to visually experience the procedure and develop realistic expectations. Thanks to the detailed 3D visualisation, adjustments and wishes can be discussed in advance. This reduces the risk of later dissatisfaction or additional corrections - because goals and options have been clearly defined.
How does 3D simulation help in the decision-making process?
You can see what the result of your desired treatment could look like - something that is often difficult to visualise with a mere description. Many patients make their decision much more quickly after seeing the 3D simulation. Realistic expectations increase subsequent satisfaction and promote trust between Dr Matiasek and you.
How does Crisalix create realistic expectations?
In the past, people relied on before and after photos of other people - a common reason for false expectations, as every anatomy is unique. Crisalix shows personalised visualisations based on Your anatomy. This provides a much more precise picture of the likely outcome and makes it easier to decide in favour of or against treatment. Overall, Crisalix helps to avoid unrealistic expectations and increase satisfaction in the long term.
What are the costs associated with Crisalix?
The Costs for the use of Crisalix vary depending on the type of procedure and the specific requirements. Public guidelines start at around 24 euros (depending on the procedure).
In Dr Matiasek's practice, the Crisalix costs are already included in the total cost of your planned procedure. There are therefore no additional fees for the 3D simulation. If you have any questions Lecturer Dr Matiasek in person - make an appointment.
